HOW TO ACCESS HOME LEARNING
Logins and passwords are located on the password cards sent home in hard copy learning packs.
Please email gillwinga-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au if you cannot locate your childs password card or if you are not picking up a hard copy pack and you will be sent an electronic copy.
Please email gillwinga-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au if you are encountering any issues with accessing the home learning material with your name, the issue you are having and your best contact phone number. Our IT Coordinator will contact you to help you solve the issue over the phone. Please be patient in waiting to be contacted as this transition occurs.
Student Portal
https://education.nsw.gov.au/
1. Open the above link or type DET Student Portal into your search engine (ie. google)
2. Select LOG IN from the top right hand corner of the screen
3. Select STUDENT PORTAL
4. Type in STUDENT PORTAL LOGIN and STUDENT PORTAL PASSWORD.

Google Classroom
The first time students login to Google Classroom they will need to ACCESS THEIR EMAIL to join the class.
ACCESS STUDENT EMAIL (1st time sign in only)
1. Follow the steps to login to the student portal.
2. From the left hand side select EMAIL
3. If prompted, type in STUDENT PORTAL LOGIN and STUDENT PORTAL PASSWORD
4. Open the email from your students teacher titled 'CLASS INVITATION'
5. You will automatically be redirected to your students Google Classroom
Once students have signed into the classroom via email they can access the google classroom straight from the portal. They do not need to sign into their email each time.
ACCESS THROUGH STUDENT PORTAL
1. On the right hand side of the screen select the SHOW MORE tab underneath the heading 'Learning'
2. Select G SUITE (GOOGLE APPS FOR EDUCATION)
3. Select GOOGLE CLASSROOM tab
4. You will be automatically signed in, if not login in again using STUDENT PORTAL LOGIN and STUDENT PORTAL PASSWORD
Reading Eggs

1. Access Reading Eggs by clicking the above link or typing Reading Eggs into your search engine (ie google)
2. Select the LOG IN button from the top right hand corner
3. Type students READING EGGS LOGIN IN and PASSWORD
Mathletics

1. Use the above link or type 'Mathletics' into your search engine (ie google)
2. Type in your USERNAME and PASSWORD or if you are using a mobile device (such as a tablet or iPad) hover your camera over the QR CODE.

2. Select LOG IN from the top right hand corner
3. Select I'M A STUDENT
4. Ignore the email and password section. At the bottom of the screen ENTER YOURTEXT CODE. If you are on a mobile device (such as a tablet or an iPad) hover your camera over the QR CODE.
